Advertisements give latest information about products. If there were no advertising, consumers could not know about goods in their local shops. Advertising helps sell to a bigger market. Therefore, as more goods are sold they are rtisements also provide money for newspapers, magazines, radios and TV stations, etc.
But there are also some opinions against people think that advertisements do not give much information but only try to persuade you to buy. They create a demand for goods that are not really needed. Besides, advertising adds to the cost of goods. Further more, they are ugly to look at and spoil the enviroments.
Actually,rtisingis without exception. But in today＇s world, advertising is not only necessary but also helpful.
Books are our best friends. They are very dear to us because they give us a lot of pleasure and sincerely advise us how to get alone in this world. And when we come across difficulties, we often turn to them for help. Good books in need are good friends indeed.
However, not all the books are worth reading. Some books contains violence or sexual scenes are not good for people, especially teenagers to read. While some books are too simple or too difficult, others are not interesting enough. As time is quite limited, so it’s wise for all of us to choose to books that suit for us to read.
So, it is important to make the wise use of books. We should read different kinds of books. The books that give us knowledge which we can not learn in the class, the books give us pleasures and the books which remain us do not forget the past. What’s more ,we must try to apply to practice what we learn from books.
My favorite is freedom that I can do everything for mine without thinking!

It is a sunny and fair morning. Stepping out of the settlement, I turn into the avenue, further into another avenue across the street. Sunlight reaches me through the leaves, casting moving shadow on the pavement. Wind is to blame for unrest of the shadow.
Nobody is witnessed on the way. Quietness occupies the forest. Over there roaring vechiles on the expressway can be heard, which fails to hold me back.
Birds greet me on the brick-paved path, sharing with the beauty of the morning.
Further more, a Catholic church comes into my sight. The gothic architecture ,typical of the church greatly to passers-by.
I pass by the church almost every holiday and every weekend. The church clock is a great arrtraction to me for its gentle ringing.

Last summer I spent a two-week vacation at my aunt’s. My aunt lived alone in a mountain village.
One morning I went fishing in the river, where two women were doing some washing. I found a most favorable point, cast out my line and waited anxiously for a bite. Suddenly there came a cry: ”Help! Help!” I looked in the direction of the call and saw a boy struggling in the river. Without hesitation I dashed over like an arrow, jumped into the river and swam towards the boy as quickly as I could. Within a few minutes I pushed the boy to the bank of the river. Together with his mother I carried the boy to the nearby hospital. The boy was saved! His mother thanked me time and again. “This is what I should do as a league member.” I answered.
Back to my fishing place, I found my fishing pole floating on the water. I managed to get it. What a nice surprise! There was a big fish on the hook.
In the world of detective novels,Sherlock Holmes is undoubtedly the most famous for me,the greatest detective in novels is Hercule Poirot,a little Belgian who always uses his little grey cells to find the truth.
I really appreciate him for various reasons,such as his having an insight into other peoples psychology,his understanding on hunman nature and his being most improtant thing is that he looks more like a real human being,compared with Holmes or other legend has such a funny appearance,an egg-shaped head and exaggerated moustache .He enjoys delicious cuisine and focuses on his own is always humor and likes to mock prefers to stay with young peole for being attracted by their vigor and there are still so many lovely features of him I can list.
Anyway,I like him and appreciate always get touched by the philosophy of life in his Poirot is indeed my favourite detective.
I read the news in yesterdays newspaper that an expert suggested that listening not be included in high school examination. There has been a heated discussion among us students.
There are 70 per cent of students against the point of views such as the listening is one of four skills to learn English well, or have the bad listening that it is difficult to watch the broadcasting of the English news and English films, or other English events.
The last, they against CET4 and CET6 includes the listening, because they think that its no use making the English listening text.
There are 30 per cent of students agree that the most of people have no chance to go abroad to study, and listening can take up many time that make us have no time to learn other subjects.
I think that the listening will waste our live, so I suggest cancelling the listening in high school. I hope you can appeal my advice. Thank you!
