The negative consequences of technology addiction can be illustrated fromtwo aspects. For one thing, being indulged in technological gadgets isdetrimental to students’ academic performance. For example, many universitystudents stay up all night to play video games and thus feel drowsy anddistracted in class. In addition, many psychological researchers found that theexcessive use of technological devices can have an adverse effect onindividuals’ mental well-being and interpersonal relationship.
